When I was thirteen years old, I had a very important injury when I was playing a match with my football team. I broke the ligament that hold my knee. I'm not playing football yet. It has been the worst thing that happened to me but it has helped me a lot to other things. For exemple, that I have to enjoy every moment because always can happen things that you don't expect. And also that I have to value all I have and all I can do because when you haven't it or you can't do it, you miss it a lot.
When I was six years old, I discovered that the three kings, Santa Claus, the "tió"... don't exist. It was a very big disappointment for me because it seemed that ilusion and the Christmas atmosphere had disappeared. I couldn't believe that my parents had tricked me for years. The lesson was that you can't believe in something that you haven't seen and that any person can trick you, regardless if is someone in your family or a very close friend.
Another experience was when I watched the final of the king's cup three years ago. It played F.C.Barcelona against Athletic de Bilbao. Barça won the match for 4-1 but the lesson was when the match finished. The Atheltic supporters had seen how their team had lost a final for three goals but they weren't silent and seated or disappointed with their team. They were shouting and encouraging their team more than at the start of the match. In this moment I thought that all the fans of all the teams should be like Athletic supporters.
There were some lessons: first, that football is only a game and you only have to enjoy with it; second, that you have to value your team for the effort and not for the result, because if your team has given all for win, you can't asked more; third, that is more important to encourage your team when it has lost than when it has won; and finally, that you should encourage your team but you shouldn't insult the other team.
congratulations, Eloi! excellent learning from all the experiences! good job! :-)
