First of
all, the most important difference is the time when the story happens: in the book,
the story happens in Middle Ages but in the film, the story happens in Contemporary
Ages. This difference entails a lot of differences like the arms that they use,
the Capulet’s party, the clothes…
Another
difference is the place where the action happens: in the book, the action is in
the old and beautiful city of Verona and in the film the action happens in
Verona Beach, America.
Finally,
another difference is Juliet’s age; in the book, Juliet is thirteen years old
but in the film, she is older than in the book, she is about nineteen years
old.
I think
this is all but there are probably other little differences that I don’t
remember because we saw the film three months ago.
